Well the little ones have voices!

Last night Rhumb was as surprised as I was to hear – chirping, screams, barks, growls, and coo-ing noises coming from the whelping box.

All five puppies are standing and balancing for five or more seconds now, they are starting to interact with each other and play, for seconds at a time, and they are learning how to use their voices.

All five puppies have eyes wide open and are looking about and trying to make eye contact when we come into the room, and I think we might have eye gazers, just like their Mama. They are all enjoying belly rubs, and little soft massages as they go to sleep after nursing, which is so super sweet for me. Nancy
