Well jeepers creepers, where’d you get those peepers … My friend came over this evening to visit with the puppies and when she got here the puppies eyes started to open, just like that.

They now have sight for the first time. Which means they can now also hear.

When Mama Beetz steps into the whelping box they are truckin’ in her direction because they can now see what the milk machine looks like!

We have nursing and we have gulping, the puppies latch on and hold on for a good long while until the milk lets down and then you can almost feel the contentment from one end to the other of the lined up puppies.

Today the puppies are now also eliminating on their own, and trying to crawl away from where they sleep, not quite there yet, but trying.
