We are chugging along, literally.

The two big boys have made nursing their job. Not nursing to exist or to fill a hunger pang, but a job, a full time job. These boys gulp, and loudly at that. Because they are so robust in their suckling they have helped Rhumb with her one inverted nipple, to relieve the mastitis that was building.

The girls are loving their Mamas milk but their strategy seems to be to nurse, get a Mama bath, sleep, scoot around, find mom, and start all over again. They seem to have more things to do and places to go.

And when they have a belly full of warm milk, sleep they do.

I could watch their puppy yawns, and twitches, and chirps pretty much all day.

It will be awesome to see how this all plays out. I am seeing itty bitty pieces of personalities coming through, but not enough to say who is who quite yet, just glimmers.

Everyone is healthy and growing, I am grateful. Rhumb is recovering well, her appetite has come back and she is eating nearly 4# of raw food a day. Her need to work is also coming back strong. She is till a bit weak in her hind end, but each day we see more stability, so step by step, whelping is a huge deal on the body.
